He is the leader of WIBERG's Team Inspiration and therefore has the ultimate responsibility for bringing the different threads together. Alois Gasser has enjoyed great success in his professional career: He was three times winner of the coveted "Golden Reindl" creative recipe award, he won the "Chefs' Chef" in 1999 and then in 2002 was elected as Vice-President of the Association of Austrian Chefs. It all began for this passionate cook when he worked as an apprentice chef at Salzburg's station restaurant. He then worked in high-end catering in Switzerland and also in many top Austrian restaurants, such as the Hotel Schloss Fuschl and Zum Eulenspiegel.For almost 20 years now, Alois Gasser has been the highly productive front man for our creative team. From this role, he has masterminded new product developments, quality assurance, our trade fair stands, initial planning and the WIBERG services mentioned above. But leaving aside all these vitally important activities, this even-tempered family man has still not lost the desire to cook. For him, cooking is more about quality of life and the expression of creativity. Smitten with a desire to experiment in an unconventional way, he boldly attempts extraordinary creations and repeatedly amazes peers with his cooking skills.
