Design Requests Process
Step 1
A design request is received from a WIBERG channel of distribution. This can be Austria, Germany, or one of our many export countries.
Our creative designers take the customer request on board and sketch casing designs that boast the following features:
- They stand out from the competition
- Brand image transfer (“Who am I – What do I want – How am I performing on the market”)
- Optimal taste and pleasure transfer
- A design tailored to suit a particular product
Step 2
The sketch is reviewed together with the customer to ensure that all elements are correct. The customer asks for changes to be made or gives approval for printing.
Step 3
Once print approval has been received from the customer, the design department completes the final drawing of the sketch. After further revisions and corrections, the data is sent to the printing material (cliché or sleeve) manufacturer. There, a printing plate (comparable to a stamp) is produced using modern laser engraving or ablation.
Step 4
WIBERG examines these sleeves or photopolymer clichés to ensure that they are correct and complete and that they match the print image. The required casings can now be manufactured.
